The Learning Tree is a warm & loving Christian Preschool whose mission is to provide a nurturing environment where children can grow emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually.
Based on the knowledge that the formative years of early childhood are vitally important, each child is nurtured with the utmost care. Our carefully crafted program is designed to provide children with the early foundation and framework necessary for the transition to elementary school and beyond.
Christian values and traditions are woven naturally through all of our disciplines so that they become both a meaningful and treasured part of each child’s experience as they learn to be kind to others.

The Learning Tree is part of the Texas Rising Star program, meeting the highest standards for learning while providing the opportunity for financial support to the children of our community.
The Preschool serves children who are 3 and 4 years old by September 1st of the academic year. School hours are 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday

We are pleased to announce that Rich Balderas will be the new Director of The Learning Tree for the 2024-2025 school year. Rich has been in education for more than 25 years and speaks Spanish.
“I am absolutely humbled and deeply honored to embrace this exciting opportunity of leading The Learning Tree Preschool as its new Director,” Rich said. “There is something special about this school. For over 40 years in existence, this Christian-based school program has had a positive impact on the children in our community. I am committed to continue its rich legacy.”
