You are Invited
Come let us worship God together each Sunday at 10:00AM Live or online. Our traditional worship style in our historic sanctuary are best experienced in person and we have a seat for you. If you are unable to join us in person for whatever reason, we also live stream our worship service on Facebook Live.
Our Pastor, Jacob Fields, delivers engaging and relatable sermons rooted in scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirt to draw us closer in relationship to God.
Communion is served the first Sunday of the month.

First United Methodist Church has been serving Gainesville, Cooke County, and the World since 1852.
Our Mission is “To Know Christ and to Make Him Known,” and we invite you to be part of our journey.
One of our ministries is our resale shop located on the corner of South Denton and Main St. The community is so generous, donating clothes and household items to us and we in turn sell them to community members at a highly reduced rate. The store is staffed with volunteers from our church and the community. Each year the proceeds from the sales are invested back into the community.
Our Christian preschool has been here for more than 40 years serving 3 and 4 year old children. We are open during the school year, Tuesdays through Fridays, from 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM.
