First United Methodist Church follows that traditional Liturgical calendar, including the seasons of Advent–the four weeks prior to Christmas–and Lent–the seven weeks prior to Easter. As in many traditional churches, we often offer a study guide for individual devotion or, on occasion, opportunities for group study and reflection.
